Jack Newton is a BAFTA award winning editor who has been cutting for Five Mile Films since the very first series of The Dog House (C4). He has been a key editor and sometimes finishing editor on much of Five Mile’s output, including The Dog House, The Dog Academy (C4), The Simpler Life (C4) and Pete Doherty: Who Killed My Son? (C4). Jack started his editing career working at Drummer on The Boy on The Bicycle, a BAFTA-winning documentary for CBBC. Since then, he has worked predominantly on factual programmes for RDF, Dragonfly, Curve, Boomerang, Voltage, Frank, the BBC as well as Five Mile Films, rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the best up and coming talents in the West Country.
