Emily Assael

As Director of Business, Emily has been an integral part of Five Mile’s success and growth since the beginning. With over 20 years of production experience, she has worked on a huge variety of programmes including factual entertainment formats such as The Apprentice and Bake Off (BBC), rig shows like One Born Every Minute (C4) and Happy Families (ITV), and a number of Natural History programmes during a stint at the BBC’s NHU. Emily joined Five Mile Films from Wall to Wall West, where she was their first PM. During her time there, she was Line Producer on popular shows such as Back In Time for School (BBC), The Sweetmakers (BBC) and A Passage to Britain (BBC).
