Owen Phillips is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and investigative journalist. At Five Mile Films, he devised and developed Channel 4 / NBC Peacock’s Imposter: The Man Who Came Back from the Dead (Series Director), BBC2’s Lucan (Executive Producer), Channel 4’s Pete Doherty, Who Killed My Son? (Executive Producer) and Sky’s Murder in the Valleys (Series Producer). Previous documentary credits include the EMMY and BAFTA award winning Leaving Neverland (HBO/C4), the BAFTA nominated The Rise of the Murdoch Dynasty (BBC2), the Royal Television Society award winning The Fires that Foretold Grenfell (BBC2) and Barrymore Body in the Pool (C4). He has extensive experience of working in popular current affairs television and radio programming at the BBC. Owen is currently executive producing upcoming projects for ITV and Channel 4 and running the documentary development team at Five Mile Films.
