The Dog House follows the dedicated staff at Woodgreen as, once again, they match their rescue dogs with prospective owners. We learn the back stories of the abandoned strays, the unloved family pets, and the unmanageable canines who find their way to the rescue centre. At the same time, we learn the stories of the dog-seeking prospective owners and the dog-shaped holes in their lives that they want to fill. Each episode takes us on three journeys to see whether the matches we have witnessed mean the dogs have really found their forever home.
